"Just Another Manic Monday ... ♫ ♪" {May | Week 2}

Happy Mother's Day to Everyone!

Happy Birthday to this girl on the 11th!

I seriously hope the cold weather hasn't stopped anyone from getting out and shedding those unsightly pounds! Today, as you know, is Mother's Day and it's a perfect day to indulge and relax: I give you permission to eat what you like, and not move a muscle without any fear of guilt. As of Monday though, it'll be time to get back on the horse and get it done this week! So enjoy today ;)

As I stated above my 31st birthday is Tuesday {YIPPEE!}, and yes I'm okay with being 31 LOL I have my 2nd Lap Band adjustment on Thursday, and then Friday the girls are going to a magic show and Charlie and I are going to see "Robin Hood" ... MMMMMM Russell Crowe and Ridley Scott .... Oooooo Ahhhhh :)

At the present moment I am at a comfortable 256lbs, and that's even with me starting a bit of weight training, and also starting swimming. So I consider that a HUGE win/win :) To know I'm lifting some weights and doing the toning and stuff hardcore with swimming and I'm STILL down almost 2lbs ... I am perfectly okay with that :)

Here is my image for this week ...

My big thing this week has been to really buckle down and make sure I'm getting my heartrate up for at least 30 FULL minutes, if not the entire hour I've been going to the YMCA. I can tell I've made a difference when I really apply myself, so I thought I'd share that :)

I will post the Has Been girls as I get their images, so stay tuned!! :)

  1. As far as measurements go..Im pretty much an inch to 2 inches down all over my body..weight has not changed..So Im still at 310.But I build muscle like a male.So I cant go off what the scale says.I have to pay attention to inches..
Some of my pants are gettin real loose..
Candace is starting big time cardio this week..
Ramping things up again.I hope my asthma can keep up..lol..
But all in all I love my workouts and am having alot of fun and the results are definatly showing!

  2. Yeah this is what I look like getting up at 5:30! LOL... Well, I had a horrible week i'm getting sooo discouraged! I hopped on the scale this morning and would you believe I was up 5 freaking lbs in one flipping week! My inches stayed the same.. But when I started this journey in January I weighed in at 207 with a goal to be at 187 by last Saturday... Well It's passed and I'm back to 206! I'm so ready to just say screw it and be fat! Is there something that could be wrong besides my thyroid? I know it's not that it's been checked 2 times....

  3. Well I think today is week 5 for me in desperately trying to get down to 145 and so far I am down to 160 this week. I had a couple of off days last week, it was more busy than usual so I kinda grabbed and ate what I wanted for 1 meal a couple of days. I did not weigh myself first thing this morning since I felt heavier due to a visitor that is soon approaching.

I also did not work out 4 days last week so I felt bad therefore ate bad. Back on the wagon today and making smarter choices. Photo is soon to follow after I send it out to Tina.

  7. Remember Sherry we natrually flux between 5 to 10 lbs.
Dont be discouraged by the scale.Scales dont matter..
Get a measuring tape and start taking ur measurements once or twice a month..
Ladies if u pay attention to the scale its goin to drive u insane..
U could be in my boat..
    I still weight 310..
But Im losing inches. That is more important than the # on the scale. Also remember muscle weigh's more than fat!
    you can all do this..
Dont get obsessed with those scales..
Train urself to only really look at it at the most once a week..
I dont weigh or measure but once a month..
Reason for this.. Is so I dont get obsessed with #'s
Instead I watch the natural progression of my own body..

  8. Mistie, I didn't know it was 5-10 lbs! Holy crow!! Thanks! I don't weigh my self but once a week monday mornings. I'm feeling better sorry for my crybaby rant! I've started getting up with DH at 5:30 and we work out for a half hr. I'm pretty dang sore LOL! So hopefully we'll see something happening. If that doesn't happen I'm going to go to the dr and have them look into this "adrenal fatigue" according to this test on this page http://www.adrenalfatigue.org/adrenal-fatigue-quiz.html I have over 80% of the symptoms.. It doesn't hurt right.
Mistie, I can see a change in your face it's sliming out!
