I'm noticing this week that my Has Been girls are really making a difference in their appearances, and I love it!!!
Jen ...

You are looking so fit! I can tell all over on you that you're losing inches, and although you aren't smiling in your picture ... I see your happiness ;) Great, wonderful, fantastic job!!!
Em ...

From this picture I can definitely see weight loss. You look really happy in this shot, too, so I think that's why I love this :)
Sherry ...
Mistie ...
Alexis ...

Today I'm introducing a new Has Been Girl ... Meet Amanda :)
Today 5/20/2010 ... I'm introducing another new Has Been girl ... Meet Christina :)

and here is me, in a shirt I wore back in December and it was so tight I could barely get it to cover my enormous belly ...

Let's revisit this shirt from before, shall we??

Say it with me .... BARFFFFFFFFFFF!!
LOL
I can definitely see improvement, and the shirt is almost to the point of being just too big, but I liked wearing it because it's very feminine. Love the color too ;)
I will make sure to post the rest of the girls as I get them! :)
As of this morning, my scale says 278, which is a +2 lb change. But I'm not stressing because it's that special time of the month and I knew it would cause a slight weight gain. Oh well! I'm seeing change and feeling it. :) Bought a pair of size 18 capris yesterday! (I am wearing them in the picture and you can see they're not skintight or anything.) Super psyched! :)
ReplyDeleteWow! You girls look great! Jen, that special time of the month always causes a slight weight gain so you are doing good by not stressing over it. Tina, the difference in the photos is awsome...I like the fact that you are wearing the same shirt...it really emphasizes the difference. I am sorry to report that as decieving as the picture is, I have not lost any more weight but actually put it on! (I am however sporting a new do so that may be what you're noticing) I have been diagnosed with Hashimoto's Disease as some of you might know and in recent weeks have been having problems. Apparently my thyroid at this moment has decided to be hyper instead of hypo which my body does not like (esp. since I take thyroid replacement) and The results from my ultrasound is back and I also have a goiter (an enlargement of the thyroid gland) which is the reason why I feel like I have something stuck in my throat (cuz I do) so...between the stress and my body freakin out I am now up to 258 :( I am still trying and am not going to give up...so...I'm still here with you guys. ;)
ReplyDeleteI agree, Jenn you're looking soo freaking hot! And Tina, you face! You're a whole different person!! Em, you'll get it.. Just keep at it and don't get discouraged... Our bodies don't like us changing stuff on us.. You'll get this stuff figured out but in the mean time it doesn't hurt to start the good habits now.
ReplyDeleteMe, I've emailed but Tina's been busy playing with a baby! (cute pix btw!) I'm down the 5 I gained last week and .7 also. So I'm currently just a few ounces about 200!! So we'll see how it goes. I've been waking up with DH at 5:30 in the mornings for an intense workout we'll keep it up! I've also been eating better except for this weekend we had a date and we went to Texas road house.... I splurged...
Jen, you and I both are having girl responsibilities this week LOL So I'm actually up +3lb's as well, but I can actually feel the water weight so I'm sure I'll shed that soon. No worries, I'm looking for inches, so the weight isn't an issue to me.
ReplyDeleteEmily, YOWZA girl! You've got some stuff going on! It sounds like you've got it under control for the most part, though, and you seem in good spirits so that's good. I saw my Endo today about my thyroid so I can sympathize about that, and I know a few people who've had the goiters removed, is that the plan they are making for you??
Sherry, sorry, I've been so busy this week, but you're up now girl :) You look great, BTW! It sounds like you've got a realistic goal going on :) I hope you see -200lbs this month!!
You guys look great!
ReplyDeleteJen - even with a "girl" issue you are doing amazing!!
Tina - I love the fact that when I saw the recent pic with the shirt I noticed how blousy it looked on you right away. Also, the difference in your face is freaking fantastic!
Sherry - WOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!
Emily - Even though no actual weight has been lost, you are doing a great job keeping those spirits up and at least you have a plan and are not giving up. You guys are my Inspiration!

You ladies are looking great!!! You have all been working hard and it shows! I have not been having a great past 7 days I went off a bit on the diet and exercise due to work that was needing to be done on the exterior of the house and the inside where all the purging of unwanted items.
ReplyDeleteI am back on it as of today for diet, exercise will be during the evening hours as that is the only quiet time I get in my house with all the wild people and animals that live in it.
I am currently at 157 so I am only 12 lbs away from goal weight, however if I revert back to my old snacking habits I will pack it back on in no time so must....stop....eating....high caloric foods!
Hey there ladies. This is Amanda /\ see above..ugh I hate that picture. I'm not sure of my measurements cause I don't want to do it...lol. But as you can see I am out of shape. I'm actually down 8 pounds and working towards prebaby weight. I am trying to watch what I eat and not just watch it go in my mouth. I drink a lot of water and try not to eat late. I bought a treadmill since walking with three kids seems to be too much of a trial for me. I am also doing some workout videos I bought. So with that, it's great to meet you all and I wish you well on our great adventure. It's harder to take it off than it was to put it on...good luck!!! ♥
ReplyDeleteWELCOME AMANDA!!!
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to seeing your progress!

Thanks girls for being so encouraging. I am going to develop healthy eating habits wether my bod likes it or not and when it decides to respond in a positive way I will reap the rewards!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Like Amanda and Jennifer I have no clue what my measurements are. I have always been a big girl, but managed to stay below 200 until I had my first child. I then went up to 230 and haven't been able to loose it. I am currently 240 My first goal is to get below 200!
ReplyDeleteWelcome Amanda and Christina!!! Can't wait to enjoy this journey with ya!
