It's Monday, yet again, and time for us Has Been Fat Girls to measure in, and let the world know what's going on with our ever changing bodies. I will let each girl leave their own comment in the section below on how they feel they're doing, what they think they're weakness/strengths are, if they're on target to hit their goals, and what they're looking to accomplish this week :) I'm short one girl right now, but as soon as I have her image I will edit this and add it!!

Alexis and I have been friends for a long time, and when she told me she wanted to join us I was thrilled :) She's a super crafty, fellow "tog", who is one of the greatest people I know :) I will let her comment and tell us what her goals are ... although I'm sure by looking at her you can see she's into the "Toning to be a hottie" phase :)

So Im down 6.6lbs this week. I know a majority of that must be water weight, but at this point who the hell cares. I did really well with eating the right foods and keeping my calories between 12-1500 calories depending on which eating day I was on. I struggled like a beeotch on the weekend. They are always my nemesis. I definitely ate more than I should have, and not always the best foods, but all in all it was a world of difference from even last weekend. My goal for this week is to have a "5" as my middle number :)

ReplyDeleteThis week/weekend was tough in the area of keeping to my meal plan. I was so busy both Saturday and Sunday that I just could not keep up. I missed meals on Saturday, and traveled A LOT, and got home super late ... so it wasn't a win/win day for me health wise.
Sunday was stressful because I was doing a presentation, and we were out in full blazing afternoon sun, and I missed two meals ... then overate a bit at dinner. So, yet again, I was off my normal schedule.
I'm by no means making excuses, or saying that my days weren't fun filled, I'm just recapping my dieting woes/issues. I am STUCK at 25 pounds lost, but my BMI keeps creeping down and some of my clothes (esp. my pants) are getting a bit ridiculous looking, so I'm thinking that I'm gaining muscle from doing so much walking/aerobics/etc... but I'm still losing inches. Not what I wanted, but for now it's all good :)
also, my new goal is to look like Alexis!!!!

Well, I didn't do as much in the exercise area as I should have, I've slacked! I am down 1 pound. I agree with Meg the weekends are soo hard to be good on!! We did go on 2 mile walks both days but I ate enough it should have been 5.. Tonight I plan on taking my measurements and adding them to my comments! Thanks girls and Tina for sharing your glory with us!

ReplyDeleteAnywho, I'm down 3 pounds this week. Been getting up each day and doing some cardio, except for twice a week when I do my yoga. I've been either walking/jogging a mile in the evenings. We live in a trailer and it's exactly 26 laps around to make a mile. It's been working out pretty well, except for the day I fell in the hole in our front yard and wacked my head on a flower pot. :)
The weekend is my enemy. It tries to suck me in with its promises of sugary goodness. But so far I'm keeping it back. :) I'm really trying to focus on getting my eating habits down so that I can stick with a good routine. Oh, and Meg- I totally want to look like Alexis too!

ReplyDeleteThis week, I've been doing really well eating right around 1500 calories and eating the right kinds of food. Yesterday, I went to the gym for the first time and absolutely fell in love with Planet Fitness! I'm going to try to go back tonight after I put my son to bed. My scale at work (as of Saturday morning) said I was down 4 pounds but my scale at home (which I will be using from now on) says that I am down 3 pounds. Which still isn't too bad. I think I'm right on track and I'm loving it!
Thanks for the warm welcome. Just a quick intro since it's feeding the savages time. I am a 34 year old mother of 4 (16, 14, 4 & 2) and wife to a great man for almost 4 years. I have been struggling with my weight for many years and especially more now than ever. I am currently stuck at 164lbs and in a size 11 (very snug) I am really wanting to get toned and finally see abs instead of flab.
ReplyDeleteI am hoping to be in a size 9 but I am really wanting that size 7 by the time summer rolls around. I think that my size 9 goal is reachable however the 7 seems to be a bit unrealistic. Anyhow I wish all the best to each of you in your trek to a healthier, happier, sexier lifestyle.

ReplyDeleteIts actually been rather good..
Aside from my asthma kicking my ass its been good.The asthma has made the weeks workouts a little rough but I've pushed through.
I dont do the weighing thing but once a month as well as my measurements because its really easy to get obsessed with it.So Instead my personal trainer is going to do that on the 20th or 21st & then my new pictures..
I can tell I'm getting more flexible and my body is starting to change.
Im seeing more muscle coming on and my shape changing especially in my shoulders and chest area...
I work out 3 times a week with a trainer then jesse and I normally walk everynight although that has stopped since Ive been so busy..
But I will be picking that up again soon!
