Manic Wednesdays Measurements {June | Week 4}

This week I met my match in having my lap band filled. I had a fill last Thursday, and it was a doozy, what they'd consider two whole fills just to help me out. Problem with that was IT WAS TWO WHOLE FILLS. Sooooo by yesterday I couldn't even get simple foods down, and had to go in and have them remove an entire half of what they put in. On the not-so-great-but-still-a-plus-side I lost almost 4lbs in the few days I was over filled :)

I think it's important to stress staying hydrated right now. Whenever you're working out, especially in this vicious heat we're all experiencing, you can still work out but make sure above all else to STAY HYDRATED!! One way or another, I won't even be picky or harp about what to drink ... just make sure it's something that will keep you hydrated and upright :)

So I'm now officially at 253 .... YAY!! (right? LOL)

Waist: 44

Neck: 18

Improvements all around, and to be honest it's because I'm sticking so stringently to making sure everything I'm eating is either a whole food, or isn't filled with nasty preservatives. I'm drinking a lot of water too, and that's been making a huge difference with my skin and just over all complexion. Something I want to share that Charlie and I have adopted is we bought these plastic carry bottles, and invested in Brita pitchers, two of them. We use the pitchers to keep the bottles filled and use Crystal light. This way we aren't filling land fills with water bottles, and we've saved A TON OF MONEY. Just a tip :)

  1. Ok I know I've not posted in 3 weeks.I do apologize ya'll!!
    I havent quit.Just had to take a break.I have a very bad knee and have had issues walking.
    I have deginerative cartiledge in both of them.
    Im back on my supliments & will resume the workouts next monday...
    You guys keep up the great work! Everyones lookin awesome!

  2. Hi everyone, I know it's been a couple of weeks since I posted and I am sorry for that. Unfortunately, the only photo I have of myself this week was of me and my son and it doesn't show much of anything but my face. Soon after it started raining and I realized that my camera was outside, so I brought it to a friend to clean for me cuz I was too scared to even try to turn it on. I have started going to T.O.P.S. again (for those of you who haven't heard of it - TOPS is a weightloss support group Take Off Pounds Sensibly) I was an active member before my pregnancy and never went back afterwards. The support really helped me alot before and I need all I can get now! You girls included, I can't do it without you! Measurements .....

    Upper arm 17.5
    Bust 49
    Waist 48.5

    My weight Monday night was 258.75.

    I'll send my picture to you Tina, but it doesn't really show anything ... except that I love my little boy!

    I don't have a picture since I'm just home long enough to clean and re-pack, nor do I have measurements because I'm also packing for our move, BUT the scale says 168! That's a grand total of 5 pounds since I've started with you guys :)

  4. Here I go...I don't have a picture this week since my computer is being a butthole. BUT, in all honesty, I have been slacking so terribly that it would have been a horrible picture anyway. I've been giving into temptation lately, I've gained weight (I'm at 282 right now) and I've been lazy. It's just straight up laziness and practically giving up. I took my son to Boston on Tuesday and hurt my shoulders from the big ass bag I carried around for 8 hours and then I fell down my stairs this morning and hurt my foot and knee. I am giving myself until Monday to feel better and get all my fat-assedness out of my system and I am STARTING OVER. I am going to lose this weight and I don't care how many times I mess up, I am going to keep at it and keep at it until I succeed. I can't be like this forever but the only way I can change is by doing it myself. Nobody can do it for me and I REFUSE to give up. So there it is. Starting over on Monday and I will do this. Thank you all for being there!
